turkey part 2let us all breathe a deep sigh of relief. aaahhhhh …. doesn’t that feel better?

after H came home from work, we retied our bird. as you can see, it looks significantly more … or rather, less forlorn. as you can see our friend was disbelieving about the origins of the food (i.e., my kitchen) but overcame her surprise and ate with gusto. as did we all, in point of fact.

a milestone of cooking — my first thanksgiving. sometime when i’m not exhausted i’ll ruminate on that in more depth. until then, let’s hear it for tryptophan!
